Magnetic Fuel Conditioning
Frequently asked questions about magnetic fuel conditioning for cars and trucks

How much money can I expect to save with Magnon Energy's fuel conditioning system?
Magnon's fuel conditioning system, through better gas mileage (MPG), will save its users 6-18% on fuel consumption and resultant costs. Users are also able to use regular gasoline rather than premium gasoline, while still maintaining the same performance as with premium gasoline. This switch can save an additional 10-20%.

How long does it take for Magnon Energy's fuel conditioning system to be effective?
Magnon's fuel conditioning system is effective right away. Maximum effectiveness, after about 1000 miles of driving, becomes apparent as  the system cleans carbon and varnish deposits in the engine.

Can I install Magnon Energy's fuel conditioning system myself?
Generally speaking, Yes.  Installation consists of simply bolting the conditioner around the inbound fuel line. However, if one is in doubt, it is advised that a professional assist with installation on the inbound fuel line.

Where do I install Magnon Energy's fuel conditioning system?
The conditioner should be installed as close to the fuel injectors or carburetor, on the fuel line, as possible so that fuel can reach the magnetic field just before combustion. Magnon Energy's fuel conditioning system should be kept 8-10 inches away from any computerized component.

Does Magnon Energy's fuel conditioning system work on any fuel line?
Yes. Fuel lines such as rubber, steel, stainless steel, plastic, or any combination of those materials are easily penetrable for Magnon Energy's powerful fuel conditioning system.

Does Magnon Energy's fuel conditioning system work on high performance engines that use premium gasoline?
Yes. In fact, vehicles using premium gasoline can switch to regular gasoline without any sacrifice in performance. This can happen because Magnon Energy's fuel conditioning system, makes regular gasoline behave in the same manner as a higher octane gas. The end result being, high octane performance at regular gas prices.

Is Magnon Energy's fuel conditioning system good for your car's engine?
Yes. Better power and performance is achieved because of Magnon Energy's fuel conditioning systems ability to clean carbon and varnish deposits from the combustion chamber of the engine.

Can Magnon Energy's fuel conditioning system hurt your car's engine in any way?
No. Its simple installation, being bolted around the fuel line, makes Magnon Energy's fuel conditioning system non-invasive. The main effect is only to improve fuel combustion and efficiency.

Does Magnon Energy's fuel conditioning system wear out?
No. The conditioners  are constructed  using  permanent materials. Magnon Energy's fuel conditioning system will not wear out. The conditioners are designed to last a lifetime.

Magnetic Water Treatment
Frequently asked questions about magnetic water conditioning

What is Magneto hydrodynamics (MHD)?
Magneto hydrodynamics is a term that scientists use when referring to the study of the effects of magnetic energy on fluids. The discovery, that when water flows past a conductive material it will generate a weak electrical charge, was made by Michael Faraday over one hundred years ago, yet it still remains today, the basis of the way we treat water and other fluids with magnetism.

The magneto hydrodynamics (MHD) water treatment process neutralizes the lime scale caused by calcium carbonate in hard water.

Will Magnon Energy's MHD System remove minerals from the water?
Our magnetic system will retain minerals in solution. This prevents the minerals from forming hard crystals in plumbing systems and heat exchange locations. When water is heated, minerals in hard water can precipitate out of solution creating hard calcite crystals or lime scale. However, when water passes through an applied magnetic field the molecules of the water and calcium change allowing sparse crystals called aragonite to form. Light weight aragonite crystals remain suspended while flowing through the plumbing system. As a result of this process, new scale is being prevented from forming and existing scale is removed over time.

Does heat affect a magnetized fluid?
No, heat alone will not affect magnetized fluid. However, "the process" of heating water will have an effect. In the heating process, currents and physical movements created as water comes to a rolling boil, can cause disruption of the desired magnetic effect.

Can anything adversely affect a magnetized fluid?
Yes. Strong physical disturbances can affect magnetized fluid. Once the water molecules have been configured properly, disturbances such as turbulence caused by a pump impeller, water meter or a similar physical disturbance can cause the magnetized water to loose its proper configuration and water quality. Also known as vibrating depolarization. A good time to install this system (or boost an existing system) would be after such disturbances. Magnetized fluid will eventually loose its induced orientation when it has laid dormant for a long period of time. That is one reason the proper location of the water conditioners is so important.

What is unique about Magnon Energy's conditioners?
The Magnon Energy conditioners are not comprised of ordinary magnets. Their design and application is based on key MHD principles.
(1) Power - The magnetic field strength
(2) Polarity - Properly focused energy field
(3) Quantity of Units - The applied magnetic fields contact time
(4) Location - Take into consideration distance of travel, flow rate, temperature, pipe composition, mineral composition, turbulence, etc.
Magnetization serves different purposes. For example: Bar-code scanners focus on magnetic effects on bar codes. MRI's focus on magnetic effects on the human body. In the same manner, Magnon Energy's focus is on magnetic effects on fuel/fluids.

Do magnetic systems soften water?
Technically speaking, magnetic systems do not soften hard water. By definition the process of softening water involves replacing essential minerals in the water with sodium or removing minerals with filters. Both of the above methods are problematic in that they produce pollution, health issues and/or wasted water. Magnon Energy Systems use the principles of physics to treat water, not chemistry.

Magnetized water creates a reduced surface tension, which in turn causes the water to feel "soft". Hard water is characterized by its crystallization process. Properly magnetized hard water, results in the reversal of that crystallization process.

We already have a salt softener. Can magnetic fluid conditioning help?
Definitely. Magnetized fluid dissolves and mixes more readily as a result of the reduction in surface tension. Magnetized feed water can actually increase a water softeners efficiency because the magnetized feed water increases the net ion charge which creates an improved chemical reaction in the normal ion-exchange. As a result of increased efficiency, less salt is required to soften water. Some installations have shown a dramatic reduction in salt consumption.

Can magnetized water reduce corrosion?
Yes, in two ways.
(1) Magnetizing helps to buffer and neutralize the fluid.
(2) Scale-related electrolytic corrosion is eliminated when the process of scale formation is interrupted.

Will magnetization affect the pH of a fluid?
Magnetizing fluids causes those fluids to be configured and ionized and the total numbers of H+ and OH- ions are forced to move to equality. This occurs as a result of molecules being placed in close proximity to other molecules that are able to accept these ions into their structures. When the general ionic content is accelerated, neutralization is reached. Neutralization is achieved when acidic fluid moves toward basic and basic towards acidic. Overall the process of buffering the pH, reduces the variations found in fluids.

Can Magnon Energy systems have a beneficial effect on fluids that are presently conditioned with chemical additives?
Yes. Fluids which are magnetized mix more easily with conditioners. This occurs as a result of a lowered surface tension which in turn creates a "wetter" behavior and uniform bonding thus improving the mixture. The magnetized fluid increases the conditioners efficiency, reducing it's normal precipitation from the fluid, thus resulting in the same conditioner working longer, saving money. Overall, the chemicals are used more effectively.

How can magnetized water help a reverse osmosis system?
Reverse osmosis (R/O) systems provide ultra filtration. Due to the ultra filtration, fluids that are high in mineral content clog the filtration membrane with mineral crystals. Placing Magnon conditioners on the R/O feed will prevent crystal formation ,ultimately reduce  membrane clogging and downtime required to flush the clogged membrane.

Pool and Spa
Frequently asked questions about pool and spa conditioning

How do Magnon pool and spa conditioners reduce my heating costs?
Magnon's conditioners remove scale from the pool/spa surfaces as well as from inside the heater. The heaters efficiency is improved when the scales which serve as an insulator are removed.

How long will it take to remove scale or copper stains from my pool?
It can be very quick or take about 3 to 4 weeks. Hard scale will become soft and sticky. You may then brush it off or leave it to eventually disappear by itself.

How long may I expect Magnon pool and spa conditioners to last?
Magnon systems are guaranteed for life!  The conditioners do not loose their power.

Can I stop using all chemicals?
No. Magnon conditioners allow chemicals to mix more efficiently by reducing the waters surface tension. Certain chemicals will still be needed but the amount you use is reduced.

Why does the chlorine odor seem to subside?
Two reasons!
(1) As Magnon conditioners makes it easier for chemicals to mix more efficiently, the amount of chlorine used can be reduced substantially.
(2) As Magnon conditioners reduce surface tension, molecules are aligned and less evaporation occurs.

A few days after installing Magnon conditioners my pool went cloudy. Why?
The Magnon conditioner's powerful magnetic field causes particles to pick up a positive electrical charge. As particles, once too small to be seen, clump together, they become more visible. Once they are this size they can be trapped by the filter making the water clearer in a few days. Larger particles will fall to the bottom and can be vacuumed.

If Magnon conditioners do not add or take anything out of the water why does it seem softer?
Magnon conditioners change the water's molecular alignment and structure which reduces surface tension and  gives water that "soft water characteristic".
